Running Lab

Did you know your individual walking pattern can actually determine what kind of shoes you should wear?

It’s true! Your stride is a feature completely unique to you, like your fingerprints or voice signature. As such, everyone deserves a shoe that truly fits, a shoe that don’t just look good but feels good.

So, what’s in the analysis, exactly?

The analysis itself will take only a minute or two. You will walk, either on the treadmill or the floor, so our specalists can observe your unique gait. Selecting a shoe depends on you. It could take ten minutes. It could take an hour. Nothing is more important to us than making sure you feel completely confident the shoes you buy are best for you.

And the analysis isn’t only great for avid athletes. Beginners and people just interested in getting comfortable everyday shoes are encouraged to figure out what shoes are best for their feet, too!

How long does it take?

It takes about a minute on the treadmill, but the whole shoe selection process can take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. We want you to be fully confident the shoes you buy are the best for you.

How much does it cost?

The gait analysis is always free and no need to make an appointment. Just come in and one of our trained staff will be available to assist you.

Should I bring in my current shoes?

You can always bring in your old shoes for us to examine but it is not required. For the gait analysis, we will always put you into one of our new shoes.

What if I’m not comfortable on the treadmill?

No problem! We can always do the analysis without the treadmill.

What if I’m new to running?

Everyone is new to running at some point. Please feel free to ask our staff any question you may have. We love to help people who are new to the sport!

I don’t run, I walk… do you have good walking shoes?

Yes! We feel all our running shoes are great walking shoes as well. Walkers are encouraged to do the free gait analysis as well.
